Dramatherapy Research

BADth Research Internet Discussion Group

The group is for members of BADth, the British Association of Dramatherapists, who are interested in research. Non-BADth members and non-Dramatherapists are also welcome to join if they are interested in the subject of Dramatherapy research. Dramatherapy clients with an interest in research would be particularly welcome. The group works by having a single email address to write to which then distributes emails out to all members.

Discussion is welcome on any relevant topic, for example:

• Preliminary reports of research undertaken
• Requests for help or advice
• Announcements of seminars, conferences or courses
• Forwarding of funding opportunities and calls for papers
• Discussion and debate on methodology, ethics or professional research issues
• Posting of useful websites

The group is a useful and friendly source of information and help, as well as a forum for discussion on research policy, methods, philosophy and so on. The membership is mostly from the UK, but there are also members from the rest of Europe, the USA and Israel. There are experienced researchers on the list as well as those (such as dramatherapy trainees and other students) with more modest ambitions, so do come and join us!
