In this three hour workshop, you will be introduced to the ways in which you can playfully integrate Schema therapy principles into your therapeutic practice, whether you are a creative arts therapist or other therapeutic practitioner.
Full Description

Schema Therapy is a form of psychotherapy that helps clients to change deep-seated patterns of thinking, feeling, and behaving that are based on early life experiences. It includes:

  • Empty Chair Work: Facilitate dialogues between different parts of the self to promote insight and resolution.
  • Inner Child Work: Understand and meet the needs of the inner child, fostering deep emotional healing.
  • Working with Protectors: Identify and collaborate with protective parts of the psyche to reduce resistance and enhance therapeutic outcomes.

After a short theoretical introduction, we dive into various practical and experiential exercises.

Enhance your skills and learn how the Schema Therapy modes can give you and your clients a more in-depth insight into coping patterns.
