Clinical Supervision Group: Eating Disorders

Summary

The BADth eating disorder supervision space is for qualified and registered Arts Therapists who want to develop their understanding of, and confidence in their work with clients who present with eating disorders and disordered eating. These sessions are facilitated by Mary Franklin Smith will take place monthly on the fourth Wednesday of the month.

Participants should have a specific interest developing their ability to work creativity with this client group by engaging simultaneously with the mind and body. They should be keen to explore the physical and psychological implications of disordered eating and its effects on a person’s ability to connect with their innate health.

Places are allocated on a first come first served basis with 10 spaces available for each session.

Members rates (£45) available for BADth, BAMT and BAAT members. Non-members rate £55.

Attendees will be invited to bring a supervisory question/theme that they would like to explore. A selection of themes will be chosen each session. Mary will work experientially, with you having plenty of opportunity to explore exercises as well as receive psychoeducation.
