  • Investment in Rehabilitation: Invest in community rehab services, including dramatherapy.
  • Leadership Roles for AHPs: Create leadership roles for Allied Health Professions.
  • Equitable Access to Care: Ensure equitable access to coordinated care.

Q2. Challenges and enablers for moving care from hospitals to communities:

  • Funding: Adequate funding for community rehab services.
  • Continuity of Care: Continue therapies post-discharge to ensure seamless care.
  • Access to Creative Therapy: Address inconsistent access to dramatherapy positions.
  • Physical Space and Logistics: Secure suitable community spaces for sessions.
  • Unpaid Placements: Advocate for paid placements for dramatherapy students.
  • Versatility of Dramatherapy: Promote its use in various community settings.

  • Complementing In-Person Care: Use technology to complement, not replace, in-person sessions.
  • Equitable Access: Ensure all patients have access to necessary technology.
