At BADth, we are pleased to share a new research opportunity and invite our members working with adult populations to contribute to an important UK-wide study.
Lyndsey Ackerman, a PhD student at Queen Margaret University, is conducting research focused on understanding healthcare professionals’ knowledge, attitudes, and skills related to osteoporosis prevention in adult patient populations. While osteoporosis remains a major public health concern, opportunities for early prevention are often under-utilised in routine clinical practice. This survey aims to identify current workforce strengths, gaps, and training needs to help inform future educational strategies and improve patient outcomes.
As Allied Health Professionals (AHPs), your unique clinical perspective is incredibly valuable to this study, ensuring the findings reflect a broad range of professionals across the health and social care sectors.
