HEE launch Psychological Professions Workforce Plan for England

Announced on 15th December 2021 is the Psychological Professions Workforce Plan for England with a Priority Action Annexe. This plan will support the expansion of the psychological professions workforce at an unprecedented rate, by approximately 10,500 posts by 2024 (60% growth) to meet the psychological needs of service users, carers and families.

This is a tool that aims to support local systems to deliver the growth in psychological professions that their wider mental health plans require and use the diverse psychological profession roles effectively.
